Delivery Information

UK

For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail, Parcel Force 48 and UPS Courier.  Please note that neither UPS or Parcel Force are ‘express’ services and we do not ship out via these methods every day.

Postal options are calculated on a weight and dimension of package basis.

Please note that it is not possible for us to request arrangements such as 'leave package behind the gate' etc.

Please look at the options available carefully before making your choice.  We have done our best to make this as simple as possible.  If you have any questions, then please contact us.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT SHIP EVERY DAY AND WE DO NOT OFFER A NEXT DAY SERVICE.

For mainland UK, all RIFs are sent via Royal Mail/UPS Courier on a 'best endeavour' basis - please note that these deliveries take place Monday to Friday and not over the weekend or holidays.  If items are returned to us because the Courier could not make delivery (after 3 attempts) then we reserve the right to charge for any return costs to us and subsequent delivery.  Parcel Force is really only intended for locations/packages that neither Royal Mail or UPS can service.

For remote UK locations the indicated postage prices should be looked on as a guide only.  We do our very best to provide a competitive service.  If the postage cost turns out to be higher, then we will notify you and ask you to decide if you would like the sale to continue or to be cancelled.

Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands Isle of Man and other UK off-shore islands - small packages under 2KG are not a problem - Royal Mail will be used. However, for items over 2KG in weight then postage prices shown should be used as a guide only.  In those cases, we will contact you for further guidance.  For RIF's the issue become slightly more problematical.  As the item could be transported via aircraft then we have found such items to be placed under review which can cause a delay in delivery.  Again, you will be contacted for further guidance.

Channel Islands - all orders will exclude VAT and each package will have a Customs label with the correct Tariff code and order value displayed. Small packages under 2KG are not a problem and Royal Mail will be used.  However, for items above 2KG in weight or for RIF's then Parcel Force 48 Global Priority will be used.  Please note that Parcel Force 48 Global Priority delivery cost to the Channel Isles is much more expensive and should not be selected for items below 2KG.  For any such orders you will be contacted to discuss prior to shipping.

As we are now in our 11th year of trading, we are very pleased to report that very few deliveries are ever lost.  We ask our customers to carefully consider which is the best option available and if in any doubt - contact us.

Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Under government regulations issued in January 2007 we are all obliged and must play our part to ensure that the amount of waste on certain electrical and electronic equipment is reduced going forward.
Furthermore where it is produced as waste we must work together to ensure that it is separated from household waste, collected separately and ultimately disposed of in a sound environmental manner (recycled and recovered).

In essence some of the chemicals and metals in these electrical items can be harmful to the soil and human health when disposed of in landfill sites.
By adopting the new regulations and working together we can all reduce the amount of landfill and resulting contamination.

For your part as the customer you are encouraged to examine your electrical waste before throwing it away and in particular look for the rating plate and if the WEEE logo is present (a dustbin with a cross through it) you must not throw it in your household waste.

We offer our customers the facility to return to us any unwanted electrical airsoft items for safe disposal & recycling.
Should this facility be required please contact us

EUROPE

As of the 1st January 2021 all packages to Europe will exclude VAT and each package will have a Customs label with the correct Tariff code and order value displayed.  Please note that you may be subject to additional fees raised by your domestic Customs policy.  If any International orders are returned to us due to none payment of import fees then any refund will be less 10% of the order value or a minimum of £10.  For Europe we offer either International Airmail – Confirmed Delivery (max weight 2KG)Standard International Airmail - Unconfirmed Delivery (max weight 1KG) or UPS Courier.  Please note that for Standard International Airmail - Unconfirmed Delivery, the package is not insured or trackable in any way.  International Airmail - Confirmed Delivery provides a maximum insurance value of £50 and a certain amount of tracking (depending on receiving country).  In all cases we have proof of posting which clearly shows postal address and cost paid.  We ask our European customers to carefully consider which is the best postal option available depending on order as we cannot be held responsible for any losses.  If you are a new customer to Milspec you may be asked for additional proof of identity and possible payment via Bank Transfer.

UPS - Europe

This is not an express service.  It is intended for packages above 2KG in weight and items such as complete replicas that cannot be shipped via Airmail post.  We do not ship via this method every day.  This is the most common method for such packages to the majority of the UK & Europe.  As the UK has now left the EU, additional Customs paperwork is required when shipping via Courier into Europe.  Therefore any orders placed which could have been sent via International Signed For Airmail will be changed to that method and any surplus will be refunded.  If any International orders are returned to us due to none payment of import fees then any refund will be less any costs/fees incurred.

Please note that for European UPS deliveries, the price shown is a guide only.  Please email us with full address details before placing an order so that we can give you an accurate quote.

All sales of Airsoft Guns (RIF) to Europe will require the customer to send a photograph of a suitable identity document which clearly shows age name and address.  It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all local laws are observed in full.  Milspec will not be liable for any losses that may occur in this way.  If items are returned to us in saleable condition, then we will refund the cost of the item less any shipping charges and fees/fines.

AMERICAS CANADA & ASIA
